We’d describe ourselves as “accidental bath refinishers.” In 2017, my business partner France and I founded durabath. I was just an average guy seeking for job. Then, when walking Pedro, France’s dog, I ran into her. For a business offering durabath refinishing services, she marketed contracts. They urgently needed someone after losing one of their bath refinishers. Despite the fact that I had few options at the time and had no idea what a bath refinisher did, I submitted an application, and they hired me.I finally mastered the skill of transforming antique baths by priming the surface and applying expert bath paint after roughly two months of intensive training. I became fixated on learning everything there was to know about restoring them.I spent the majority of my time working with worn-out tubs that numerous clients had ignored. Other times, I had to fix bathtubs that had been refinished by homeowners using inferior Durabath bath restoration kits. After a few months, the paint fumes started making me ill. Although I was wearing a full-face mask, it did not keep me safe. I had trouble breathing, and my lungs would occasionally become obstructed.Five years later, we’re still going strong and taking care of more clients. The service levels we offer to our consumers have allowed us to do this.It has been a long process, and we have finished almost 2000 baths, shower trays, and sinks.Along the road, we have collaborated with a lot of fantastic residential and commercial companies. You can view our Businesses page if you’re interested in finding out which ones.We are sincerely appreciative to having this company and to be servicing so many wonderful clients.Durabath Products and Services was given its name by France.
